Explore the falls by launch to their base and
observe the cascading Victoria Nile as it descends through a 6
metre crevasse and drops 43 m.
Game can be viewed from the launch such as Lion,
Elephant, Crocodile and the rare Shoebill stork; the birding checklist
numbers some 450 species for this Park. Game viewing by vehicle
around the Buligi circuit for Giraffe, Leopard, Lion and Buffalo.
Also visit the top of the falls by car to experience this spectacular
scene.
Fishing below the falls can be arranged and a
license will cost US$75 for a four day trip or US$50 per day trip
(i.e. up to a week for one continuous visit). Rubongo Forest in
the Park features Chimpanzees, although often very difficult to
find.
The Kaniyo-Pabidi Eco-tourism site inside the Park, has a better-laid out path system and Chimps habituated to human presence and are therefore easier to sight.
